Part-Time Caretaker

We are currently seeking a Part-time Caretaker to manage a strata building in Squamish.

The successful candidate will be motivated and professional, have excellent organization and communication skills, be detail-oriented, computer literate, be able to take direction and should be able to work with minimal supervision. Previous building management experience is an asset.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

General janitorial and maintenance of common areas,
Snow clearing of sidewalks and common area pathways,
Administrative work involved in the operation of the property, according to procedures and instructions set by the Property Manager,
Ensure the property maintains a high standard of professionalism,
Emergency operations of electrical, elevator, boiler, fire panel, safety systems, mechanical systems, sprinkler and timer systems,
Use key fob software to issue fobs for residents and maintain database,
Enforce the strata's bylaws and rules,
Deal with after-hours emergencies,
Schedule and supervise move ins and move outs,
Supervise contractors and process invoices in a timely manner,
Request Purchase Orders for all work and/or supplies being undertaken at the property,
Prepare detailed Incident Reports related to accidents, altercations and damage to the property and/or other applicable incidents,
Maintenance and reconciliation of petty cash,
Other duties as may be required from time to time.
